> DESCRIPTION: For Bariel AV’s debut album, Jakub finally made a long-time dream real — a cover of Na Zare, the 1987 Soviet synth-pop anthem by Alians. Teaming up with Yasha96, they gave it a slowed-down, hazy new shape. VHS camera in hand, they captured hours of raw footage.
I took it from there — edited the whole thing, added titles straight out of ’87, Czech and Russian subtitles, and just enough warm glitches to make it hum.
