> DESCRIPTION: Created for the Hearing/Seeing exhibition, this piece was selected through an open call organized by the Czech Philharmonic in collaboration with Lunchmeat Festival. Out of more than 80 entries, 15 works were chosen for presentation in Prague’s Galerie Rudolfinum — one of the country’s most respected art institutions.
The piece responds to an excerpt from Bohuslav Martinů’s 6th Symphony — a composition in constant motion, where moods dissolve into each other without resolution. I mirrored that instability through experiments with AI-generated footage, visual synthesizers, analog glitch hardware and dithering effects.
Part of the visual material was recorded live in response to the music, using a video Sleepy Circuits Hypno synthesizer run through some glitch devices. The rest was assembled and refined in post production.
